Monty Bennett is a Dallas-based executive and philanthropist dedicated to enhancing the local community. Adopt-A-Block is a nonprofit initiative that encourages local businesses to take responsibility for cleaning and maintaining specific city blocks.
Bennett served as the founding sponsor of the Adopt-A-Block DFW program. Since it’s establishment, Adopt-A-Block DFW has facilitated numerous clean-ups across the city. Notable examples include the Lower Oak Lawn Block and the Lovers Lane Block, both of which have been adopted and are undergoing significant improvements.
Monty Bennett’s commitment to community development extends beyond Adopt-A-Block. He is actively involved in initiatives aimed at improving public safety and urban living conditions in Dallas. His efforts reflect a broader dedication to creating a cleaner, safer, and more vibrant city for all residents.

Education
A proud Cornell University graduate, Mr. Bennett earned his MBA from the S.C. Johnson Graduate School of Management and received his Bachelor of Science degree with distinction from the School of Hotel Administration. He continues his affiliation with the university as a life member of the Cornell Hotel Society.

Dedicated to creating meaningful change, Monty Bennett has been a steadfast supporter of over 80 nonprofit organizations. His contributions, in partnership with the Ashford companies, extend across key causes such as medical research, youth education, first responders, and social services. Through his philanthropic leadership, he continues to drive positive change within the Dallas-Fort Worth community and beyond.
